Have it evaluated: It is certainly possible that some of the headaches may be related to surgical healing. However, there are well known long term sequelae from brain aneurysms-particularly if there was a rupture. Delayed hydrocephalus is one of those where the fluid in the ventricles does not absorb as well. This can easily be evaluated by your physician. ...Read more

Friend of mine had a brain aneurysm and is not coherent. I have chiari 7mm and a nuerofibroma at c6&c7, what are the chances of me having an aneursym ?

Not related: The constellation of symptoms from your bio suggests neurofibromatosis. If this is true then the answer is controversial in that it is higher than the average population but the numbers are unknown between 0 & 5%. Maybe: Are you on any medications to lower the blood pressure? This would be a very common treatment of brain aneurysm regardless of whether or not it has been coiled or clipped. You should talk to your doctor to see if the medication(s) need to be adjusted. Also, you need to stop smoking completely. ...Read more
