When a demise occurs, the unaffected twin should continue the same as a single gestation. Have your OB refer for a nuchal thickness ultrasound, follow growth with us & good luck with your pregnancy. It depends: What type of c-section should be performed in the pregnancy after a previous c-section depends upon the type of incision made on the uterus in the preceeding c-section and anything else that is going on in this pregnancy. You need answers.: Please understand that I am a family physician, not an obstetrician. If i understand you, your wife had a serious post-partum hemorrhage after a c-section delivery of twins. I would imagine that blood would be given unless there was a specific reason not to. My questions would pertain to her neurological status, and the possibility of bleeding into her pituitary gland.
