If on birth control can you get pregnant from precum?

If on birth control can you get pregnant from precum?

Unlikely: Fluid prior to ejaculation comes from a gland in the urethra so it rarely contains sperm but can especially if the man recently ejaculated. Also, some men can't tell pre-ejaculate from rapid ejaculation and that's why withdraw method is unreliable birth control.

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

If on birth control can you get pregnant from precum? My boyfriend and I had sex twice in one day without him urinating in between. We didn't use a condom and he used the withdrawal method? What are my chances of getting pregnant?

If on birth control can you get pregnant from precum? My boyfriend and I had sex twice in one day without him urinating in between. We didn't use a condom and he used the withdrawal method? What are my chances of getting pregnant?

Birth control: Birth control when used correctly is very effective at preventing pregnancy. The male urinating before or after does not change the risk of pregnancy in any way. That is a myth. The withdrawal method is not needed when on birth control. Condoms help prevent STDs. You are already protected against pregnancy on the pill.

On lo loestrin fe birth control for 10 days. Had sex No condom, no ejaculate. But maybe some pre ejaculate? How likely to get pregnant?

Possible: While the possibility sounds low, you really can't put a number on it. You could be pregnant because you had unprotected sex without full contraception being in place. There is no way to put a "how likely" on this. It comes down to you either are or are not. It only takes one egg and one sperm to create a pregnancy. If you don't want to be pregnant, follow the directions of your contraceptive fully

If you use a condom, birth control, and the "pulling out method " is it still possible to get pregnate from precum?

If you use a condom, birth control, and the "pulling out method " is it still possible to get pregnate from precum?

Low risk: Condom and birth control use are both effective at reducing risk of pregnancy. The "pull out" method is of little to no value as pre-cum contains sperm. The only 100% effective method of avoiding pregnancy is to abstain.

If your injecting HGH while injecting the depro provera (medroxyprogesterone) birth control can you get pregnant?

If your injecting HGH while injecting the depro provera (medroxyprogesterone) birth control can you get pregnant?

Apples/oranges: One has nothing to do with the other. I assume you're not mixing them. It's unusual for a 19 year old to be on hgh. Taking it as an adult without actual gh deficiency can cause significant morbidity including, deformed bones, diabetes, increases risk for cancer, heart probs, etc. It makes things grow so if you don't need it, it isn't wise to stimulate growth in other cells.

Can you get pregnant from precum? While not taking birth control?

Can you get pregnant from precum? While not taking birth control?

Only takes one: I assume from the context you mean the pre-ejaculate. All of the secretions of an excited penis have enough sperm to impregnate you. The pull-out plan is easy but not a dependable form of contraception. If you want to avoid pregnancy you must use additional methods. Yes, you can be pregnant.

Had sex twice in a row, used pull out method. Can I get pregnant from precum? I haven't been on birth control in over 8 months.

Yes: The withdrawal method is clearly not full proof. An average of 4 out of 100 women become pregnant even in whose partners use withdrawal method correctly. The pregnancy rate can be as high as 27 of 100 women whose partners don't always do it correctly.

How likely is it to get pregnant from Precum if I missed two birth control pills on different days on week two but made them up?

How likely is it to get pregnant from Precum if I missed two birth control pills on different days on week two but made them up?

Might be: The pill works by fooling your body into thinking it is already pregnant (hormones), if the body detects a decline in the hormones (missed pills) you may ovulate. Doubling up may not prevent it. Precum has enough sperm to get you pregnant, but less than a full ejaculate. It is best to add a form of BC if you are forgetful.

How could I get pregnant on birth control?

How could I get pregnant on birth control?

Pregnancy on BC pill: Birth control pills aren't perfect, but they work very well if taken correctly. Missing a pill or pills may allow for an ovulation that cycle. Also taking an antibiotic may decrease the efficacy of the birth control pills for that cycle.

How could someone get pregnant while on birth control?

Low chance: If a woman is taking birth control pills every day, same time each day the chance of her getting pregnant is low, about 1/100 per year. There are several situations that can cause the bcp to fail, such as taking antibiotics or some other medications. However the commonest reason women get pregnant on birth control pills is missing pills and not using a back up method.

Took birth control after sex can I get pregnant?

Took birth control after sex can I get pregnant?

Please Clarify: If you took emergency contraception after unprotected sex, your chance of pregnancy decreases by approximately 70% depending on the time between the sexual activity and the time you took the pill. If you just took regular birth control pill after unprotected sex once and just 1 pill, it does not work and your chances of getting pregnant are high if you had sex during the fertile period.

Can you get pregnant easily with oral birth control?

Can you get pregnant easily with oral birth control?

>5% risk.: Practical issues limit the efficacy of oral contraceptives to <95%, so be prepared for surprises. Iuds are a much safer option for most mutually monogamous couples, cost much less and are promptly removed when a pregnancy is desired without consequences. Remember that no contraceptive prevents all sexually transmitted infections.
