If My H Cg Level Is 21000 What Should I Be Able To See
I miscarried last time I checked my hCG level was 60 now it went down to 2.80 do I have to check again to see if I still have product of the babe left?
No: Non pregnant women will normally test positive for hcg. Usually up to 5 is considered normal and non pregnant. Your level of 2.8 means that you're back to normal. ...Read more

My hCG level is 400 and they can't see anything on the ultrasound, is this normal? I'm not sure how far along I am.
Talk to your doctor!: Hcg - the hormone of pregnancy - will double every two to three days during the first part of the pregnancy. By the time the HCG is over 1500, the pregnancy can usually be seen on ultrasound. A low HCG level can mean a woman is having a miscarriage, but it might also mean a tubal or ectopic pregnancy, which can be dangerous to you. Please talk to your doctor and get your questions cleared up! ...Read more

Possibly: Unfortunately, you will need further HCG level testing and a ultrasound later to determine a multiple gestation as it is too early at this time to predict. ...Read more
Hcg level 3 days ago was 172. Now its 412. The dr cant see a heart beat yet. Is this still too early to detect a heart beat,?
HCG: Your HCG level is rising nicely, but it is probably too early to see a heart beat. Try again in a week or two. ...Read more
I will be 6w4d pregnant with a hCG level of approx 3500 at my first ultrasound this week. If this pregnancy is viable, what can I expect to see?
Very early OB ultrasounds can have a variable appearance. A gestational sac should be visible with a transabdominal ultrasound, with the yolk sac and fetal pole probably visible with endovaginal ultrasound. Cardiac activity may also be seen.
Follow up us or serial HCG levels can help confirm pregnancy status if there is any concern. ...Read more
I had an ultrasound and they didn't see a baby but the urine test is postive and my hcg level is 75.... how early can I be? Period twice this month
I had a prolonged cycle in May I went to see my doctor he sent me for blood work my hCG level is 50 but home test today is negative what is going on?
From which HCG level, I can see a sac? HCG is now 3722 and no SAC seen on vaginal US. Does this mean ectopic pregnancy? My HCG is doubling normally
BHCG: Typically a pregnancy can be seen around a BHCG of 2000. Some variation is expected depending on the skill of the sonographer and the quality of the machine. At 3722 and a doubling BHCG a pregnancy should be seen regardless of whether or not it is normal pregnancy or an ectopic. Follow up is warranted with your doctor. ...Read more
I m 6 week preg. Went for ultrasound dr did not see any sac. My hCG level is only 76.Am I going to miscarry or can still be pregnant. Doc stop all my med?
I have a cyst and I'm 4 weeks pregnant my HCG level is 2400 but the doc doesn't see my babe what could b wrong?
Nothing likely: We don't usually see the baby until at least 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 weeks. In addition that cyst is probably your corpus luteum and it supplies the progesterone you need to stay pregnant until your placenta takes over production around 12 weeks. See if your Ob will repeat the hcg as it should continue to rise if this is a normal pregnancy. A repeat US in a couple weeks may be a good idea too. ...Read more
I am pregnant. I went to doctor and they looked through ultra sound couldn't see anything. Said early pregnancy hCG level is 28. Is baby ok?
You tell us: Only you know when you could have gotten pregnant. The answer to this question is only going to be known with dates and more data. What did your physician tell you? Why did you not share that VITAL piece of information in your question? If you are more than six weeks then no baby on ultrasound means the pregnancy is not viable. ...Read more
Ultrasound at 5w and 2d showed only gestational sac. No yolk sac or baby. Dr said might be too early to see. But hCG level came back next day at 15, 209. Which do you go by? Hcg level or weeks?
Can be both: I agree with your doctor in that it may definitely be too early to see the baby, but encouraged there is at least a gestational sac being seen. Your HCG level is a little more elevated than expected but there can be a range of "normal" among women in early pregnancy. We generally take both the HCG level and the ultrasound to base judgements and decisions on. Hopefully by 8 weeks you will hear heart ...Read more
M 6days late n my doc said to collect urine n hand over to the lab. She wants to see the hcg level in the urine. How do they check in the LAB?
3weeks 1day since ovulation, HCG level was 8100. Was only able to see a gestional sac on transvaginal u/s, no yolk sac or fetal pole. Is this normal?
Yes: At that level of HCG one would likely not see anything but a gestational sac. ...Read more

6wks pregnant, no gestational sac in tubes or uterus based off 2 u/s. 5 weeks hCG level at 1100, at 6wks 1900. Possible I ovulated later & see sac soon?
It's possible.. .: Usually we see a gestational sac in the uterus by the time your HCG level is 1200, but it's harder to see in the tubes. The HCG level also usually doubles every 2-3 days, and yours only went up a little over the course of a week. So those are both concerning signs. Even if your timing is off, the numbers are odd. Did anyone check a Progesterone level? That can help us with a diagnosis sometimes. ...Read more
6 weeks pregnant, LMP was jan 30. Two u/s showed no gestational sac in uterus or tubes. Hcg level is 1900. Can I have ovulated later &see a sac soon?
Yes: This varies amongst women. A normal level at 5 weeks is anywhere between 18 and 7, 340. As long as you're having an appropriate rise in your HCG level (doubling every 48-72 hrs), then there's nothing to worry about. There's no need for you to continue checking your HCG level, however, unless you have concerns for miscarriage or your doctor recommends it. Congrats on your pregnancy! ...Read more
Pregnancy or tumor: Hcg is the normal hormonal product of the placenta and so levels are high in pregnancy; a urine pregnancy test looks for hcg. However some tumors also produce hcg, so a high level in a man, or in a non-pregnant woman, strongly suggests a tumor that needs to be found and treated as soon as possible. ...Read more
