If My Daughter Have A Fever Of 1006 What Do I Do
Hard to say: You provide no useful data on which to base a suggestion. My thoughts for a 3 week old would be much different than a 3 month or 3 year old.Etc. Perhaps you can start over, give some background and resubmit a question.Questions are not linked on the public site so each must contain enough information and a clear question to be answered. ...Read more
My daughter 6months 1/2 just starting teething 2days ago & now has a fever of 100.6 done under armpit....help?
See doctor: Armpit temperatures are not that reliable, but if she has a fever at 6 months she needs to see a doctor to figure out the cause. It is not from teething. Please take her to the doctor today. Babies can get very sick very fast, it is better to have her seen and make sure she is okay. ...Read more

Forget the fever...: ...Doe she need any medication that is actually important - antibiotic or antiviral such as oseltamivir? Antibiotics can be life-savers in some cases; they can sometimes be given as injections. But giving fever reducing medication to a child is mostly done to manage anxiety in parents; the prognosis or outcome of an illness does not depend on whether or not fever medicine is given. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

No treatment necessary. Most clear in about a week. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

If there is anything worrisome besides fever, see your doctor. ...Read more
My 21mo daughter gets high fevers when sick. Temp gets bt 103-104 she's still pretty happy, but much higher, she's lethargic until meds work. Worried?
Typical: Some patients are particularly sensitive to different parameters, such as temperature, blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. This is an example of how if you have a derangement of one of them enough, it causes major problems. If she is lethargic for any reason, she needs to be seen, either at her physician or an emergency room. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
NO!: A temperature over 100.5 is considered a fever in this age. And remember, this is a symptom, not a disease that needs treatment. So if she is feeling ok(>100.5), just push fluids, rest and monitor for other symptoms that may indicate something else going on. Fever alone does not need medicine - higher body temperature helps fight off infections and germs! ...Read more
