If I take Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) will I get a rash?

If I take Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) will I get a rash?

Very rare: The stimulant class of medication (such as Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) or adderall) are rarely associated with skin eruptions, allergic or otherwise. If you have a rash and are taking vyvanse, (lisdexamfetamine) most likely it isn't caused by the medication. See your prescribing doctor if the rash looks like this one, or continues. ...Read more

I take 70mg of vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) which is not enough to get me through my day. I want to take a short acting one too to help. THoughts?

If Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) helps up: until a certain time, such as 2-5 PM but then symptoms return and interfere with function, then prescriber may add a short-acting amphetamine such as adderall to start roughly half an hour before the Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) wears off. The adderall should last 3-5 hours and hopefully will wear off before time to go to sleep. Best regards for relief. ...Read more

I'm unable to get my Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) script (70mg) for a couple more weeks. How long will it take for me to feel normal again & have energy? Thank you!

Vyvance and energy: Although your medication has stimulant properties, it has been approved for the treatment of ADHD. It could be used for Narcolepsy, although it would be off-label. In terms of the stimulant effect, it is related to daily intake only. I would be more concerned with your functioning if the diagnosis is ADHD. In that case, I would advise to try and get a script asap. ...Read more

Can you take 3 Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) 30mg pill a day? Like one at 7am next one at 2pm next one at 8pm ? It only last 4 hours for me and then i get tired after.

Not impossible, but,: This will definitely require conversation with your doctor. Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) should last longer than 4 hours. From the dosing you suggest it sounds like it must last more like 6 or 7 hours. I would worry about it keeping you awake almost all night this way. You could try to take a larger dose, it is possible it might last longer.Usually even plain Adderall will last at least 4 hours. ...Read more

I am unable to get my Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) script (70mg) for a couple more weeks. How long will it take for me to feel normal again with normal energy until then?

Discuss with MD: It's not clear why you're taking Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine), (lisdexamfetamine) why you've run short on prescription and why your concern is wanting normal energy. Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is a stimulant & controlled substance given for ADD/ADHD which you don't list as a problem. It targets poor concentration. Please talk to your prescribing doctor to review why you've run short and don't have normal energy. Hope this helps. ...Read more

I want to get off risperdone and am on 2mg. I have been on it for 3 and a half months. I also take Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) 40mg. How can I start lowering the dosage a?

Ask your precriber: the doctor who precribed those two medications, one is controlled, Vyvanse, (lisdexamfetamine) and the other, Risperidone, has a long half life, and should be monitored by the treating physician, and shouldn't be stopped on your own. Kindly confer with your doctor ...Read more

How long does it take for by vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) to get out of your system?

Half-life: Half-life is time required to drop current dose/level by 50%. We estimate it takes 5 half-lives to get something out of your body (~3.125%).
