Ok : Taking Azithromycin and magnesium should not be a problem. However if you're having diarrhea on the antibiotics that might be more of an issue. I would probably follow up with the doctor prescribing the medicine. ...Read more

I'm ttc, and when me and hubby try I have an irritating reaction, (as if infection). I'm taking probiotics, folic acid 400mcg. What more should I do?

Investigation: It sounds like you are doing everything right. It's possible you have an infection (yeast or bacteria) and only notice it after the friction of sex. If so, a doctor can test and possibly prescribe. Lubrication can have a lot to do with that feeling to. Maybe something in your diet, exercise, sleep, stress, soaps, etc., that's causing vaginal dryness? See a gyn for full evaluation and help. ...Read more

I am 19 and allergic to citrus. I get sick quite often and am prone to frequent sinus infections. Is it bc i don't take in vitamin c?

Hard to say: You can get vitamin c in pill form without risk of allergic response and likely get some from other non citrus sources.Whether this has anything to do with your sinus infections is hard to say, but rather unlikely. Exposure to nasal irritants like smoke or fragrance, allergic triggers, and uri's have more impact on sinus disease frequency.Avoiding such agents and nasal wash decreases frequency. ...Read more

What can I take or do if I have taken too much vitamin d suppl? I'm having stomach pains bloating etc. My dr had me taking 20, 000 iu a day. Help!

Stop it for now: Vitamin at 20, 000 iu is excessive. Typically, treatment for low vitamin d is about 50, 000iu per week. If using as supplement, 1000-2000 iu/day should be plenty. Anyhow, any medication/vitamin that is causing excessive side effects, stop it and inform doc why you had to do so. The treatment should not be worse than the condition itself. Get some natural vitd--the sun. Consult your doc. Good luck. ...Read more

Can I take Jevity 1.5 which I use for my peg tube together with Cipro (ciprofloxacin) because I have an infection or take it later?

J peg AND Cipro (ciprofloxacin): The J-PEG tube, goes through the abdominal into the stomach. The feeding solution can be administered, continuously or at intervals. Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is an antibiotic, which in your case, should be a in a liquid form, if you take once a day, probably you should interrupt the feeding, and following completion of the dose administration, resume the feeding.
