Different formulas: Males: ibw = 50 kg + 2.3 kg for each inch over 5 feet. Thus for you: 50 kg + (2.3 kg x 12 ") = 50 + 27.6 = 77.6 kg (x 2.2 lb/kg) = 170.72 lb. 154 pounds: Is the highest weight considered to be within a "normal" bmi for your height. The range is 118 lbs (bmi of 19) to 154 pounds (bmi of 24.9).
