No known cure: For ichthyosis, so the goal of treatment is to manage the condition & includes prescription creams and ointments that contain acids that help control scaling and increase skin moisture. The following skin care tips may help:
Apply lotions and creams to wet skin to trap in the moisture (within 3 minutes of showering/bathing)
Rub gently a pumice stone on wet skin to help remove thickened crusty skin.

there are some particular moisturizers that you might try:
cerave sa
carmol 20
amlactin
