I have these sharp sporadic pains in my head that last about 2-5 seconds. I looked it up on the internet and saw something about ice pick head pain?

I have been experiencing sharp ice pick type headaches in the back of the head in the back right base of the skull which come and go intermittently.

Sharp headaches: Please get evaluated. This may be something called trigeminal neuralgia. You really need to explain the pain more so that someone can diagnose it. For now, since you having severe headaches you should follow up with your doctor asap to be evaluated to make sure you dont have any more concerning issues like stroke, aneurysms, masses, or vasospasm which could cause the pain.
