I recently missed 3 of my antidepressants just wondering what the withdrawal symptoms are?

DEPENDS.: Some antidepressants are in your system very briefly and can lead to withdrawal from the receptor site. Notorious are Effexor (venlafaxine) and paxil. Prozac has a long half life and should not lead to withdrawal. Try not to miss any medication doses.

I am transitioning from labetalol to amlodipine. What are the withdrawal symptoms for labetalol?

Pulse rate: Since it is a beta blocker it could decrease your pulse rate and after tapering off of it could go up. You of course need to look at your blood pressure and I would recommend Monitoring it in the morning, afternoon or evening and write it down so your physician knows.

I've been struggling with phenibut addiction? What would you prescribe to ease withdrawal symptoms as I taper off?

Gabapentin: Phenibut seems to be a Russian medication in the gabapentin family. One option would be to switch to gabapentin and taper off slowly, which might be easier to taper down

Can I take Zoloft to help withdrawal symptoms from pristiq (desvenlafaxine) until I can get the pristiq (desvenlafaxine) filled tomorrow?

Can I take Zoloft to help withdrawal symptoms from pristiq (desvenlafaxine) until I can get the pristiq (desvenlafaxine) filled tomorrow?

Not generally: A good idea to take Depression medicines intermittently or as needed. Not sure if it will help. Zoloft is quite different than Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) and may cause unwanted side effects even if taken for only 1 or 2 days. You may try any over the counter headache / nausea med which are the main side effects of "withdrawal". Maybe a Physician from your State is available on HeathTaP Prime to refill today?

I have taken 1 mg of lorazepam as a sleep aid for the past 6 years. Will I have withdrawal symptoms if I quit taking it? I only use it for sleep.

I have taken 1 mg of lorazepam as a sleep aid for the past 6 years. Will I have withdrawal symptoms if I quit taking it? I only use it for sleep.

Maybe: The good thing is that you have taken Lorazepam at bedtime for 6 years without developping tolerance. Ambien (zolpidem) can cause tolerance. Much faster. Consider trazodone or low dose Remeron that are not addictive and help sleep and anxiety.

I was prescribed 40 mg of methadone a day for a year and my doctor just weaned me off in a week but I am still having really bad withdrawal symptoms!

That is too short: A period for withdrawal. In general, long-term use of these medications requires a minimum of one month, and sometimes as much as 3 months (rarely more) to safely get off. There are medications, such as clonidine, which can help treat the post-acute withdrawal symptoms you are llkely feeling. Talk to your doctor, or ask for a second opinion regarding the weaning. Meds to treat symptoms may help.

How long risperidone withdrawal symptoms go I take 2 mg for about 3 years I stop it now slowly but feeling weak have no energy plz tell what I do : (?

Discuss w/ Dr!: This is one of the most difficult drugs to stop. It needs to be slow and as you see - even then it is rough! Perhaps your Dr can find a thing to see you through it. Otherwise be kind to yourself and patient. Many drop 10% every 2-4 wks - so you might take 6 mths or even more. Always think about these issues before starting another psychotropic. Discuss it w/ your Dr!

What symptoms?: What symptoms are you referring to? There is no known withdrawal effects if slowly tapered down: these are not narcotics or opiates. There should not be any effects of lowering the doses.

Steroid tapering: Your symptoms may not be withdrawal. However, when taking steroids, it is important to make a slow taper of the dosage. Recommend to talk with your prescribing physician on how to make a slow dose reduction and try not to stop the medication suddenly.

When do the all the lexapro 10mg withdrawal symptoms stop I've been taking it for about 4 years and quit cold turkey 5days ago? I take clonazepam 0.5m

When do the all the lexapro 10mg withdrawal symptoms stop I've been taking it for about 4 years and quit cold turkey 5days ago? I take clonazepam 0.5m

Hopefully Soon: In general it is not a good idea to stop medicines like Lexapro cold turkey especially after you been on it for several years. Usually you're supposed to taper yourself off of it. That is to say you gradually decrease the dose until you stop. I would recommend you ask your doctor or pharmacist about this.

Can taking tramadol 4 a week cause withdrawal symptoms, I stopped taking n now experiencing yawningnausea n a panic attack which I've never had before?

Possibly, yes: Tolerances vary, but two types of withdrawal are possible. Opioid withdrawal, and the effects of elevated nor epinephrine. These effects should be mild after only 1 week f use (you did not state quantity per day) and no lasting effects. Remember to tell the prescribing doc about this for future reference.
