Probably shouldn't: 2 reasons - both meds can increase potassium & high potassium can stop the heart. It's very hard to re-start a heart when high potassium is the cause. Also, ibuprofen decreases the effect of propranolol, so it won't work as well for controlling heart rate & blood pressure. ...Read more

The ct and sonogam should be sufficient diagnostic studies to accomplish this with a high level of certainty. If the testis are normal on the imaging studies, the traumatic injury should not affect fertility later in life. The enlarged vein the doctor noted may represent a varicocele especially if it is on his left side. A varicocele may affect fertility later in life.
