Fluid and fiber: Foods high in fat tend to constipate you. Foods high in fiber favor looser stools. Fruits vegetable, whole grains are excellent sources of fiber. Also, fiber only works if u are well hydrated. Drink plenty of non-caffinated, non-alcoholic fluids to keep stools soft. Fiber can also be added to a glass of water. Pelvic pain: Many different things can give you those symptoms. Diverticulitis, colitis, colon polyps, adhesions/obstruction, ovarian cysts, less likely cancers can all give you left pelvic pains. If this is recurrent or has lasted more than a couple days i would see a surgeon or gynecologist asap. They will be able to examine, take a good history, obtain images or obtain a colonoscopy that will help. ...Read more

Ovarian cyst: Probably not cancer but need to follow up with your gynecologist. May be endometriosis or another problem. Cyst could be twisting (ovarian torsion). I assume that they did a pregnancy test and it was negative . Otherwise that could also cause your issues. ...Read more
