One breast suddenly bigger than before. Ive heard of IBC but have no other symptoms at all. Im waiting for a DR appointment, can it be anything else?

For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Overall?: Inflammatory breast cancer, correct? In the past, it's been difficult to find statistics specific to inflammatory breast cancer, which is a relatively locally advanced stage and thus more ominous. The most recent statistic i could find is 35% 5-year survival, worse than other breast cancers but far from hopeless. Many other factors also contribute to prognosis. Similar: Mastitis is a benign, infection, usually with an abscess. Ibc is breast cancer that can look like an infection and not have a mass but is an aggressive form of breast cancer. A biopsy should be performed to make the diagnosis of ibc. Often the mammogram will be normal with minor changes. ...Read more
Is it new?: A new, obvious breast irregularity is worth discussing with your physician and perhaps getting a mammogram as it can mean cancer. Otherwise, all women's breasts have some irregularity. Unless it's so unusual that people ask you about it, I'd ignore it and be thankful for good health. ...Read more
