Good chance: If you are having regular cycles and you are sexually active and you are not using any type of contraception you can still get pregnant. It is less likely than in your twenties but still a possibility. Do not presume you can no longer get pregnant until you are menopausal. Up to that point use some type of contraception if you do not want to conceive. ...Read more

Trying to get pregnant, but nothing's happen. What can I do to increase my chances?

Watch cycles: If you have normal 28 day cycles, then you should ovulate on cycle day 14, when cycle day 1 is the first day of your period. Your most fertile time is a day or two before ovulation (cycle day 12 or 13). Your estrogen level is very high, and it makes your cervical mucus thin, allowing sperm to get though to fertilize the egg. You may notice an egg-white discharge, which is a good sign. ...Read more

Im 45 what are the chances of getting my wife pregnant who is 25? We have been trying for eight months

?: I am not an OB specialist but your question is not answerable. If you have tried hard and nothing happens, you need to consult your doctors to find out what the problem may be. Your wife is certainly at an optimal age to get pregnant and male fertility stays way past your age (however there may be a higher risk of having an autistic child as one gets much older). ...Read more

Me and my boyfriend have been trying to get pregnant for 8 months what can I do to increase my chances?

Many things: 1. Don't stress out. 2. Stay in shape (weight loss, if relevant). 3. Smart sex: time vaginal, unprotected intercourse around ovulation (usually mid-cycle, but if not sure, use otc ovulation kit). 4. If you're doing 1-3 consistently for a year and still not getting anywhere, see an ob/gyn. 5. Have faith. It will happen; probably when you least expect it. ...Read more

Watch your cycle..: If you feel you are both ready to have and care for a child, the best way to increase the chances of pregnancy is to have sexual intercourse when you are ovulating. Count your cycle days, with Day #1 being the first day of your period. If you have regular 28 day cycles, you should be ovulating on Day #14. So plan to have intercourse on Days #12, #13 and #14 for the best chance. Good luck! ...Read more
