I Wake Up Every Morning With A Headache On The Right Side Of My Head What Causes This
Migraine/muscle tens: frequent, short lived non progressive head pain is usually a migraine phenomenom, but such headaches can also occur due to neck problems or muscle spasms in the muscles of the scalp on the corresponding side. Brain tumors (masses) are unlikely if not constant, but should always be ruled out when the pain is on the same side constantly. If havent had MRI or CT, you should. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

What could cause me to wake up with a headache, eye ache, and ear ache only on the right side of my head every morning?
I wake up almost every morning with a headache on the right side of my forehead and in my right eye..down ear and neck sometimes. What are the causes?
AM headaches: it sounds like your are grinding of your teeth in your sleep resulting in TMJ Syndrom . you may want to consider an over-the-counter mouth guards and see how that will works for you. If that works then you can go see your dentist to make one for you. You may use a mild muscle relaxant at bedtime (from your PCP). Use ibuprofen for pain. Best wishes ...Read more

Dilated vessels (?): It could be you are describing dilated blood vessels which might be visible and which can be associated with a headache. A visit to your doctor might be appropriate. ...Read more
I wake up every morning with a really bad headache. I constantly have a pain in my right temple, right ear and teeth on the right side. Also numbness ?
TMJ: Sounds like you could have a really bad case of teeth or tooth grinding if this is only on the right side. With the numbness my guess is some form of TMJ. See your local dentist or oral surgeon and what they say. Then, tell me! LOL. If you'd like to write me: www.healthtap.com/dr-saghafi ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Every morning when i wake up this week i've had a saw neck causing tension head ache on one side all day why is this happening?
Pillow: Best guess would be a horrible pillow. As a spine specialist i can't overemphasize the importance of a great pillow that supports your neck at night. If someone has no pain, they can get away with a cheapo cotton/feather pillow, but if you have cervical joint pain or other neck pain, you really need to support the neck for the several hours of sleep each night. ...Read more

Why do I throw up every time i get a headache? I usually get them in the morning when i wake up. They are usually on one side of my head and I have pain in my neck.
Headache for 5 days throbbing pain & dizzy, saw doctor gave me nurfon plus but i still wake up every morning with it, feel it on top of my head &1side?
Exam and history: Too vague a question without having a thorough history and an examination. Too many variables when attempting to determine the cause of a headache. The cause, severity and location of the headache are very important. Could be nighttime bruxism- grinding your teeth, which often causes morning headaches, could consider a tmj?Tmd specialist, after seeing your dr. Again. ...Read more
I get mild headaches at the left back of my head every morning and stiffness/pain at the left side of my neck and shoulder. Should I be worried?
Why am I waking up with headache every morning, usually on one side, back of head & also sharp pain behind left eye. I've woke up really dizzy to. ?
Wake up every morning with a headache (centralized on my forehead). Its been ~1 month. Also noticed a knot on back of my neck. Often it lasts all day.
Possibly sinus: Waking with a headache centered on the forehead could indicate a sinus issue. When asleep, you are laying flat, and the sinuses do not drain as well as they do when you are upright. I imagine the knot on the back of the neck is unrelated. See your doctor for confirmation. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have allergies and every morning wake up with a very dry mouth and an intense headache which subsides 30 mins upon waking. How to treat?
Sleep apnea: Would need more information regarding symptoms but it sounds like you might have issues with either poorly controlled allergies (dust mite sensitivity?) and/or sleep apena problems. If you have a history of loud snoring, frequent daytime sleepiness, or other signs of sleep apnea might be worth looking into. Talk to primary doctor ...Read more
