Proteinuria (Nephrop: Sounds like u have nephropathy, a kidney condition characterized by protein leaking into the urine (kidneys not able to keep it from filtering thru). There r many causes, most commonly diabetes & high blood pressure (hypertension, HTN), but other causes possible (minimal change disease - MCD, Alport's syndrome, &c). Treatment depends on cause. See a foot dr: You should have an xray to see if the toe was fractured. Ice the toeand do not put too much pressure on it. Broken blood vessel? Is there discoloration? You need to be careful if there is a black and blue toenail as there could be an underlying nail bed laceration. Those usually should get antibiotics, and the nail may have to be drained of underlying blood or removed. ...Read more
