I have MS and depression, i exercise, meditate and attend, group. Any diet suggestions?

Maybe useful: Classic ms diet was swank low fat, a good healthy approach, which may have some modest benefit. Vit d supplements definitely advised, about 5-10, 000 units daily. A b-complex vitamin prep may be of limited benefit, but not clear. Stay active and socialize, get regular sleep, and try to be positive as your depression could become a barrier. Mental health: Sounds like you are having a difficult time. Propranolol is used for anxiety, especially for stage fright, but it sounds like you may need to consider counseling and discussing with your doctor a different type of medication like an SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor). You are not a "weak" person for asking for help or for using a medication to help you through this. ...Read more

Yes: Many chronic diseases lead to fatigue and even depression. Of course you may feel frustrated as to why you can't do the same things as your peers- even sunbathing would be a no-no. One will also have to rule out side effects from the medications taken to control this disease. ...Read more

I have been diagnosed with CRPS recently. Will my condition deteriorate? Can I claim disability living allowance for this condition? Education help?

Chronic pain: Regional pain syndrome can be very debilitating and yes you can claim disability status. Approval would depend on the affected extremity and severity of the symptoms. Additionally, your condition can improve with time and treatment allowing you return to work. It may also deteriorate causing you to go back on disability. As long as disability is approved initially you can always go on and off. ...Read more
