I suffer from acute gastritis but I love to go on nights out and drink beer.The next day I fill really sick and bloated. Is there anything I can take ?
Is it possible to have acute gastritis without pain? After drinking, I threw up blood but did not have any pain, just nausea and loss of appetite.

How long does it take for acute gastritis to heal... my doctor prescribed zantac (ranitidine)... I take it twice a day.
Took Advil and had a day of extreme stress. That night after eating felt very full, then started getting a gnawing pain in stomach and burping.Went away then came back after eating. Better 4 days later. Is this likely acute gastritis?

Depending on the severity - if mild you could try dietary changes like no alcohol, no smoking, no spicy or greasy foods for a bit. Choose more easily digestable items- bananas, cracker, bread and clear liquids to see if you get relief.
