Common sense: "body mass index" is junk science if applied to individuals; hugh jackman is "overweight" and john cena is "obese". If your physician is with me on this, i'd urge you to continue exercising, continue losing weight, and enjoying your commitment to health. The hemoglobin a1c will take care of itself. Why the question: You are expected to gain weight when you are pregnant and it is not a good idea to restrict your calorie-intake excessively. Try doing some light weight-training in addition to the running build up more muscle mass. It is not the total weight but the fat in the gut that matters more to your health. ...Read more

Not that way: Losing weight is a measure of calories in vs calories out. As long as you burn more than you put in you should lose weight. When burning fat it is burned from everywhere so there are no specific exercises to burn fat from a specific area but you can tone and strengthen specific areas. ...Read more

Diet: You must keep up carb intake with this amount of running. If you are losing weight you are burning more than you are taking in--bad combination. Increase daily carbohydrate intake along with suitable proteins--fish, chicken, meat etc.. Until you put back on some pounds. ...Read more
