Tylenol, nsaid, time: If your elbows are stiff and sore from too many arm curls, i suggest tylenol, nsaid's (ibuprofen, aleve, etc), rest, and time. Following this approach, your symptoms should be better within a week. If they are not, then we need to rethink the cause of your complaints. Bicep pain: Was there trauma? or repetivie movement involving the elbow? swelling? Try ice 10 minutes on 50 minutes off 4 x a day , NSAIDS , kinesiotape,may need xray to rule out fracture, avulsion if associated with trauma. Biceps : Biceps tendinitis, may have symptoms of burning pain at the front of the shoulder, tightness i the biceps muscle ( depending upon forearm rotation and elbow position) there are several causes and associated problems but overhead activity usually exacerbates this.
