Lactation consultant: While lack of milk supply is certainly a possibility, it is also possible that she is not latching on correctly and/or sucking properly. For instance, if she is just getting the tip of the nipple in and not the entire aereola, you may not get let down and instead will just get sore nipples and a frustrated baby.
