No: These are not hallucinations and you need to be seen by a doctor. Seeing lightning bolts can mean there is eye problem like a torn retina or neurologic problem like a migraine. Go back: The list of possible causes to her symptoms is long. She may even have a central nervous system issue or infection like lyme disease. Often with a variety of symptoms as hers, you aren't given a diagnosis the first time you're evaluated so she needs to go back and ask the doctor to re-evaluate her for other causes. I : I am assuming by intense headache you mean his pain is about an 8 or higher out of ten. Regardless an unrelenting headache that has been present for 3 days needs to be investigated. He could be dealing with a tension or migraine headache, extremely high blood pressure, or even a bleed in his brain. I don't mean to scare you but serious things can and do happen.
