Get Checked: I am not sure if you sustained trauma. But your should get checked soon if your toe is swollen, tingling, red, and immobile. This is especially important if you have suffered some trauma. ...Read more

Need more data: You are describing positive neurologic symptoms that sound episodic and not associated with a change in your level of awareness. Is that correct? Is it normal, hmm...: "Normal" is a relative term. Apparently it's normal for YOU. Local nerve: trauma? Dear ErikD, I wonder if your sneaker is rubbing your toe in the area where the nerve run. sometimes, tight shoes can cause this or frequent small traumas to the area when running. You might want to change sneakers or protect the area better. Dr. C ...Read more

You may speak to : Your pcp regarding calcium channel blockers or topical nitropaste or possibly even viagra (sildenafil) ( seriously ) or another long acting nitrate. Avoid caffeine, smoking and get some warm socks ( seriously) make sure you do not also have new onset of diabetes and peripheral neuropathy due to that or another issues such as thyroid disease or some neurological issue you are blaming it all on frostbite. ...Read more

No.: No one with closed epiphyses of the long bones can grow taller with growth hormone--the bones just grow thicker.
