Go to ER: I'm not sure if you went to the ER the day of the accident, but even if you did, you should return. Your symptoms are very suggestive of a concussion, or even worse a subdural hematoma or blood clot putting pressure on the brain and causing headache and nausea. Please go for evaluation NOW! Post concussive : After a concussion it is not unusual to have some persistent headache, dizziness, vertigo or general malaise. So long as the symptoms are getting better slowly, I wouldn't worry too much. If increased activity worsens the symptoms, slow down and see if doing a little less helps improve your symptoms. Concussion: symptoms take a long time to clear. Please see your doc so he/she can evaluate your headaches. Women on average have smaller neck bones and concussions may be more dangerous than for men. Concussion: Likely you have a mild concussion. Are the symptoms getting worse or improving? If getting worse, see your doctor. If improving, treat w/ tylenol (acetaminophen) & rest and avoid another head injury. No sports for 4-6 weeks. If you have any double vision/arm or leg weakness, see you fan doc. Concussion can take weeks to clear completely. If not resolved in one month, see your doc for a physical. Good luck. ...Read more
