Go see ur Family Doc: Be prepared to answer a bunch of questions. What kind of hearing problem? How long has hearing been a problem. Any exposure to loud noises? Any high pitched tones? Dizziness? Any injury or trauma? Car accidents? Swollen glands? Again, how long has neck been hurting? What makes it worse? Better? Any fever? Sore throat? Is pain in front or back? Neck: This is a tough problem for me. When does your symptom occur? It is unlikely that blood is surging through your neck but there is obviously something that needs attention. Muscle: It is likely muscle bands / spasms from tension or injury or overuse. They rub over one another when rolling neck/shoulders. Can also be local fluid build up (same causes). Often improves w/massage and try cold compresses to area. If not improving, dr could rx med to help reduce spasm. ...Read more
My back neck has been hurting for a year. I can hear cracking noise when stretching. Got better after seeing a physio, but hurting again. Suggestion?
When I lay down to sleep. I sometimes feel-hear this fluid type sensation in back neck area. It Lasts about 1-2 seconds. Is this common, or what is?
Neck sensation: It is unlikely that the sensation is from a fluid source. Upon lying down you may be feeling transient motion of neck muscles or ligaments or even motion involving the ear structures. Neck cracking: If you are having no pain, numbness or tingling then it is likely the cracking of joints in the neck much like cracking your knuckles. If you have any of the symptoms I mentioned persistently then you ought to be seen. Now in regards to choking. I don't know in what context it was done, but it is not safe.
