Doctor has to look: Rashes are difficult to describe in words. A primary care doctor or a dermatologist can examine a reddish patch to see what it might be. Sometimes rashes are related to allergies, irritants, eczema, fungi (tinea), psoriasis, etc..., but other times they are not. For odd rashes, skin biopsy may be done by a dermatologist, which also looks for skin cancer. ...Read more
There is a blackish patch on my right cheek. It has been there for couple of years now. How do I get rid of it?
Bleaching vs laser: Can't be for sure what kind of patch you have and on facial cheek or below? I assume on face: since it is there 4 several years, likely not concerning for cancer. You must minimize sun exposure. Discuss with your doc about potential use of a bleaching cream or possibly seeing a doc who does laser treatments. Even with treatment, avoiding sun exposure is key to keep it lighter! Good luck. ...Read more

Likely Innocent: It's best to examine in person, or to see a photo, to evaluate size, shape, color, context, features of its border, etc. From what you've provided, flat, smooth, non-raised, hypo pigmented, non-itching lesion, most likely innocent, but cannot diagnose without larger context. ...Read more

Hey, doctor just wanted to ask a question I got something like a gray patch in my inner cheek what could that be.
Tough to tell:
It depends if you have any other health problems. Many times, patients get non-specific viral infections that can appear as oral discoloration. These usually go away on their own.
Tobacco users are at risk for oral cancer that could present like this. Patients with HIV are also predisposed to getting mouth lesions.
If any of the above applies to you, see a doctor. ...Read more

White patch inside: Could be a condition called leucoplakia - - sometimes associated with a precancerous lesion but can also be found in repeated trauma - biting the inside of your cheek for example. Another option would be for you to see an oral surgeon if your doctor won't help Good luck ...Read more

Might be ringworm: Especially if there is a ring of more redness around the lesion, it might be a mild fungal infection often known as ringworm.
