May be lichens: planus or hairy leukoplakia associated with a viral infection. Or you may have recurrent aphthous ulcers that require some Nystatin since many ulcers are related to Candida (yeast) infection. Or herpes ulcers requiring some acyclovir. Tonsil lesions: You might have a viral infection on top of the bacterial one. I suppose you have been on antibiotics for the tonsil infection. I would watch the mouth lesions and finish the antibiotic. Gargle with warm salt water and take Motrin or tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain. Good luck. ...Read more

Bumps: Herpes labialis (cold sores) is very possible given the presence of preceding fever and the location of the bumps. If they were present anywhere else, a viral exanthem (viral rash) would be considered. It may not be a bad idea to get a culture out of a lesion to find out the cause. ...Read more
