Bottom inside eyelid really red. There was a white pimple like dot there but now its only red with slight swelling.

Probable sty: Likely an infection of one of the glands in the eyelid. Medical term is hordeolum. Warms compresses 4-5 times a day for 10-15 minutes with gentle pressure applied to the area. If not quickly resolved will need topical bacitracin opthalmic ointment which is a prescription. My daughters bottom eyelid keeps swelling 1st happened this a.m. there is no crust or running I gave her benadryl (diphenhydramine). Should I give her amoxicillin?
Examination needed: There may be a blocked duct in the lid causing the swelling. Have your physician examine her for diagnosis and the proper treatment.
