See eye doctor: The first thing to try is artificial tears... Not something that says "get the red out". Just plain over the counter artificial tears like freshkoat or systane. Chilblains : Could possibly be chilblain. A chilblain is a small, red swelling on the skin which can be very itchy and gradually becomes very painful.
