Many reasons: May be bug bite, may be medication related, may be due to a blood problem that is causing easy bruising, it could also be due to a connective tissue problem i.e. A skin problem that increases easy bruising. Bruising: Age? Supplements/foods like garlic, fish oil, gingko? Blood thinner like coumadin (warfarin)? Nsaids like aspirin, motrin, advil, aleve, feldene, etc? For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually.
