RLQ pain: Doubt this is gerd. Symptoms of gerd are usually in the mid upper abdomen to chest occasionally radiating up to the throat. Costochondritis?: It's obviously difficult to ascertain if this is costochondritis or not based on that description, as this could theoretically be indicative of heart disease, reflux or even a problem with your stomach, spleen or large intestines. Bone scan..: I am assuming that you had a tc-mdp nuclear medicine bone scan. The tracer itself should not affect your condition. It is excreted through the kidneys and has a physical half life of about 6 hours. Perhaps the position you were in during the scan aggravated your condition. Unrelated: Problems w/the coccyx aka tailbone would not cause abdominal pain. I suggest you see your gynecologist or primary care doctor to get to the bottom of this.
