Herpes simplex: It would be very unusual to have nerve involvement of the type you are describing due to hsv 2. This sounds as if you have some other issue involving the sacral spine at s1-s2 which would cover the dermatomes you are describing. It is conceivable that this is the focus of infection with herpes, but rather uncommon. Suggest seeing a neurologist. ...Read more
