Yes: Would avoid workout if you are severely debilitated. However, moderate exercise can help to improve cramping ; bloating. You're right: It may take several months before you see a significant change in your symptoms. In general the longer you are on the pill the lighter your flow. Sometimes with low dose pills there is no bleeding at all after being on them for multiple cycles. ...Read more

Could be : Your period can come early while on the pill if you miss pills or take them late. The other possibility is a pelvic infection which would also explain the cramping.
