I have multiple swollen lymph nodes in neck and back of head. They never get bigger their just there. The Biggest one is 2.25 cm. Cancer?
Possible: Any lymph node larger than 2cm warrants further evaluation. However, the longer the nodes have been prominent but unchanged, the lower the probability of cancer. Other factors of importance include your age, smoking history, overall health, family history, etc. I advise you seek out a formal consultation from your primary care doctor. A biopsy may be indicated. ...Read more

I have swollen lymph nodes in the neck one under left of chin and one in back of head right side don't have any symptoms had them for about 3 months?
Monitoring Centers: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph for anything bad like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts. They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react. They shrink when all is well. ...Read more

My friend is concerned she might have cancer. She feels tired, neck hurts and swollen lymph nodes under jaw and neck and breast. One ear canal is inflamed and back of skull on one side is sore. Her sinuses are clear. Dry throat but not sore.

See a doctor ASAP. If bacterial, you'll need an antibiotic. If shingles, an antiviral drug (e.g. valacyclovir) needs to be started very soon to have maximum benefit. ...Read more

Swollen lymph nodes throughout head and neck, big scabs in head, elevated rdw-cv and elevated abs monocytes. What could this mean?

You need a general physician or skin Dr. to evaluate your scalp (?), & serum iron and TIBC to search for mild iron deficiency (commonly raises RCW before anemia sets in).
