I Have Hpv And My Vagina Is Burning
I blister on vagina. Itching and burning. No abnormal smell, no abnormal discharge. I am worried. Could it be HPV?
Possible herpes: A blister like that is more concerning for herpes than HPV. I would have your doc check it out in office at first available appointment to see what it truly is and appropriate treatment for it. Primary genital herpes may require antiviral medication and warrants a trip to the doctor. Avoid unprotected sex until it is properly diagnosed (condom mandatory or abstain) ...Read more

May be dyspareunia: Vaginal discomfort during sexual intercourse is called dyspareunia, and there are many possible causes. Can HPV cause vagina burning and redness the day after unprotected sex? This has been going on for 6 months. Worried! What else besides a std can it b
Not HPV: HPV doesn't do this this, and no other STD is a likely cause. Yeast infection (not an STD) is the most common cause and can be difficult to diagnose; maybe worth a try of anti-yeast treatment. However, you could have idiopathic vulvodynia; the cause is unknown. If your doctor hasn't been able to make a clear diagnosis, ask for referral to a gyn who subspecializes in infectious diseases. Good luck! ...Read more

Can HPV cause a bad smelling odor in the vagina? If not what else could be contributing to bad smells?
I got tested for hpv came back negative but I see a bump on the inner side of my vagina what can it be?
Many possibilities: There are all sorts of bumps and irregularities of the labia minor, vaginal lining, etc. It could still be a genital wart despite your negative HPV test. But probably not; genital warts rarely occur as single bumps, usually several. Various cysts, skin tags, etc are very common as well. You'll need to be examined in person, preferably by the doctor or clinic where your pap and HPV test were done. ...Read more

I have hpv. I have bumps around my vagina but not in it. One of them has gotten a lot bigger and is inflamed, it also is very painful. Is this okay?
Is it OK with U: Hpv lesions can start out small & discrete early on but tend to expand & emerge as a thicker patch. They can also become secondarily infected by other surface germs. A trip to an obgyn to determine the extent of your lesions & discuss your treatment options can be worthwhile. While some lesions may disappear spontaneously in some, many require removal because of pain & spread. ...Read more

Small, more like in a line, hard little bump in between vagina and anus. Scratched it off came back & 1 more came also. Negative for hpv. What is this?
See Your Doctor: There are several dermatological conditions that can cause this, first, you must make sure you don't have Condyloma, a type of wart caused by HPV. Second, Molluscum Contagiosum may also cause flesh like lesions in that region. Both are sexually transmitted diseases. Other causes exist also. It is important to have a complete vaginal and anal/rectal exam with an anoscopy. See your Proctologist ...Read more
