What to do if i think i have hypochondria? I had a miscarriage and now i have cyst i have convinced myself i have pcos or infertility

Don't do it more: You've been through a difficult loss and now hear you have a cyst that may frighten you. These are real things. Guessing at what else is going wrong is a mistake and will not help you, but don't also guess that you 'have' a mental health problem. You are shaken, sad and frightened. Talk w/ your OBGYN to get clear info and guidance. My empathy for your feelings! ...Read more

Maybe: Fibroids are only a problem if they cause symptoms. If not, there is nothing to worry about as over 99.9% are not cancerous. Common symptoms are pressure on bladder or rectum, pain with sex, heavy and/or painful periods. Sometimes the symptoms can be treated medically. I was just told i ould have uterine fibroids! when should I get checked?

I was just told i ould have uterine fibroids! when should I get checked?

Why did someone: Suspect this. If they felt an enlarged uterus on exam, or you have heavy periods that may be common reason why a provider would suggest this. A pelvic ultrasound would confirm this and i would recommend speaking to your obgyn about pursuing this further. Fibroids are usually benign tumors but i would follow up with your gyn to get more specific information. ...Read more

I have severe menstrual cramps, could I have endometriosis?

I am assuming this ?: Is not in regard to a 57 yr old:) dysmenorrhea in a reporoductive age women could be a sign of endometriosis and warrants a pe and pelvic ultrasound to rule out any pelvic pathology. Alternatively in the post menopausal women with cramping and menses, cancer must be ruled out but I am guessing this question deals with the former. ...Read more
