I have cyst on ovary but don't want surgery. What other options are there? Its 6 cm.

A "complex" cyst may require surgery, depending on its specific characteristics. Need for surgery also depends on the amount of pain you are having. I have 2 ovarian cysts 1 on each side both are large 7 cm and 10 cm what are the chances my doctor will be able to save my ovaries when doing surgery?

Excellent: in general the is an excellent chance of saving the ovaries if we are dealing with a simple cyst. if the cyst is complex and might have solid component , then the risk and the suspicious of cancer increase. surgeon job is to save the ovaries as much as they can unless there is a risk of cancer then we have to balance between fertility and survivals, and survival always win. ...Read more

Can what doctors are saying are cysts on my head be something more serious? There are 9 spots. Some still getting bigger and some new. Been 6 yr span.

Probably not: Many people form cysts on the scalp. These are benign and are ususally easily removed. They can be fairly large and unsightly. They may cause discomfort depending on size and location. See your pcp, dermatologist, general surgeon or other physician if havig problems. Multiple ones support the cyst theory. More serious cyst-like lesions on the scalp are fairly rare.
