I Have Constant Pelvic Pain Is That Normal
Probably not: It looks like you are young on your profile. Common sources of chronic pelvic pain might be uti, std, endometriosis, hernia, other things. If you were older, organ prolapse. I have chronic lower abdominal/ pelvic pain that is accompanied by lower back pain. I've had this for two years. Still no answers. What could this be?

You might need a laparoscopy to make the diagnosis, as ultrasound is often not helpful. Other possibilities are urinary tract, bowel, or musculoskeletal related pain. You may need to see several docs to be sure. Good luck with this! ...Read more

Constipation: There are not a lot of things that cause pain in the left lower abdomen (LLQ). It is interesting that you have ruled out an ovarian cyst as this would be a common cause in a young woman. The large intestine (colon) is in the LLQ, and constipation is often the cause of pain in this region. The amount of pain that can be caused by constipation is usually overestimated. ...Read more
