Dx lung nodules now have chest pain (heart checked out ok). Pain gets more severe w deep breaths or cough, ideas? Could this be serious?Easily winded

Pleurisy: It sounds to me like you have pleuritic pain.Any irritation to the pleura- which is the lining outside the lung would cause such kind of pain. That could be caused by different things including inflammation, infection ( viral/bacterial) , autoimmune disease, etc. With the lung nodules and now with pleuritic pain- definitely i would advise you to go back to see your pmd- for further eval ...Read more
