Cannot say: which insect in your particular case. and, minor itching is helped by benadryl (diphenhydramine) (an antihistamine) that acts pretty rapidly and generally safe. Possibly eczema..: Can't be sure what it is without seeing it, but you probably have eczema. It tends to get worse during dry/colder weather and better with warmer and more humid temperature. Could be..: a couple of things, but without a picture of it or seeing it myself it's hard to say for sure. It could be an allergic reaction to something you came in contact with or a reaction to a bug bite. It could also possibly be a skin infection.
