I have bump on my bicep attached to the bone. Could this be cancer?

I have bump on my bicep attached to the bone. Could this be cancer?

Highly unlikely: There is no relationship between trauma and cancer. However, a lot of times, trauma will bring attention to a pre existing cancer condition. If there are no symptoms or new nodule around that area one does not need to worry. But if there are persistent symptoms and new abnormality, then you need to seek medical advice. ...Read more

A small bump on left bone hip, around 2 × 1cm, its hurt when get touch (only hurt on the bump not else), it appeared about 5 dys ago, cancer / tumor ?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor if the symptoms persist for more than 10 or so days, of if the symptoms get worse. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex. Get HPV vaccine ...Read more

Tiny (1 cm) painless bump, barely raised, on center of patella. Moves slightly under skin, is not tender. Does bone cancer present this way? Worried

Not likely: Bone sarcomas or metastatic lesions rarely present in this fashion. A painless bump that moves most likely is not cancer. Especially in the patella, this would be extremely unusual to get cancer there, I don't think you have to be worried about a lesion in front of your patella. ...Read more

10 days before the 40th birthday I could not move out of bed. Something was wrong with my back in the upper region toward my neck.....?

Honest: This is not a case for HealthTap. You need a 1-1 evaluation by a neurologist and/or rheumatologist. The efforts of the available HealthTap MD's have been outstanding as far as they could go In fact, if you are near the Mayo or Lahey clinics, then you should go there for an inter-discipline evaluation. In absolutely no sense of criticism, you have been through what I call "too much:" and need important psychological support to help you work this thru. H. Robert Silverstein, MD, FACC ...Read more

What to do if i found a tiny bumb on my collar bone could it be cancer?

Very unlikely, check: Many of us have various lumps and bumps that have been present for a long time and we're not aware of them, until something happens to bring our attention there -- someone else points it out, you bruise the area, you have pain. We always assume it's NEW, but may have been there a long time. Bumps on the collarbone may be extra bone, muscle, scar, or a lump in the fat or skin. See a Dr. for exam ...Read more

Would a thryoid cancer bump be attached to the wind pipe?

Thyroid cancer: The thyroid is a butterfly shaped gland that sits in the low middle part of your neck. The gland is deep to the strap muscles and sits right on the trachea itself. I have had kidney cancer. I just got my CT scan back and they report a lesion on my right ilium bone possible a bone island. Could this be cancer?

Possibly: Bone is a relatively common site of spread of kidney cancer. The odds that this is true in your case depend on the stage and grade of your original cancer and the radiographic appearance. If the radiologist described it as a bone island that makes it less likely that it is cancer. Discussing this with your doctor is a good idea, and the need for a biopsy or other further testing can be determined. ...Read more
