Allergy?: Blisters on the genitals usually means herpes, but that isn't possible if you haven't had sex (including oral sex). Maybe an allergy, e.g. to soap or something like that? Sounds herpetic: It does sound herpetic. Make sure your doctor did an actual culture and not a sretum test because this is an antibody test and can lag. The testing is for hsv 1 and 2. The lymph node swelling goes with this as wel but is less specific. A herpetic outbreak should be painful. ...Read more

Allergic? Chemical?: Too little detail to judge this. Herpes is the only STD that causes blister-like lesions or rash, but outbreaks aren't triggered by rubbing or friction, and occur no more often than once a month. (You probably masturbate more often.) Maybe an allergic or chemical reaction to a lubricant?
