Jaundice?: If your eyes and skin definitely are becoming yellow, you have jaundice -- elevated bilirubin in the blood, a pigment that comes from the liver. Jaundiced?: His/her symptoms, when considered together, suggest early onset jaundice due to a liver problem, bile duct/gallbladder problem, or pancreatic disease. Yellow eyes: In darker-skinned people, there is sometimes pigment contained within the conjunctiva (clear, vascular layer of the eye covering the white) that can make the white look yellow. This is normal. In certain liver diseases, a condition called jaundice causes the eye whites to appear yellow. This isn't normal and should be addressed by a doctor. Condolences on loss: Sorry to hear of your loss & how that led you to being so depressed. My guess is that this is not your first time overindulging in this way. Yellow tinged eyes are usually not good things to see in someone your age who's been drinking. I believe you need to acquire help and a good physical checkup & other sorts of attention. VOMITING TODDLER: Sounds viral, HOWEVER, even without pain or fever, if your child cannot even keep down liquids and is vomiting that frequently, an emergency department visit would be in order!
