70yrs, prescribed brivudine for face & eye shingles, heals nicely, no pain, yet on 4th day neck lymph nodes get swollen & bit painful. Normal?
Herpes zoster: It is certainly possible but not necessarily definite that the cervical lymphadenopathy you have experienced is related to the outbreak. Lymph nodes help fight inflammation for a living. If these gradually recede now the chances are that you were correct. Hi please tell,are the lymph nodes which are swollen due to HIV get to their orignal size or they remain swollen even after some time?
