2 conditions: It sounds like you may have 2 separate conditions. A 37 degree scoliosis (presumably in your thoracic and/or lumbar spine) is approaching surgical consideration and should be followed/treated by a spine surgeon. Do you have: Any other issues, such as a spinal cord injury? If not, and even if you do, consider seeing your doc for a quick urinalysis to make sure you do not have a UTI or a UTI that is climbing up toward kidneys which can be even more serious. W/c leg muscle group: Lower leg muscles; w/c group, anterior (edl, ta) or posterior (achilles tendon)? If anterior lower leg, you could have strained the edl or at muscle; if posterior, the achilles tendon (=heel cord, w/c is attached to the gastrosoleus).
