Is it possible to feel fetal movement at 10 weeks? I put a lil pressure on my abdomen w my hand n every so often I feel little "bumps" likeitsbouncing

No: The fetus at 10 weeks is only about an inch long and is incapable, at least as far as everything I've ever learned about obstetrics is concerned, of producing 'fetal movement' as it were. Increased blood flow to the uterus can give a palpation sensation...Like a throbbing or sense of your own heartbeat. That would be my best guess. Enjoy your pregnancy, and best wishes. ...Read more

Doctor can examine: If one has very uncomfortable tummy pain, and is normally in good health, the possibilities include: appendicitis (usually R lower abdomen), diverticulitis, kidney stone (very painful), constipation (crampy), stomach flu, abdominal tumor, etc... Most people with "moderate pain, " more than mild pain, may need a doctor's evaluation to be sure it's not appendicitis, which usually needs surgery. ...Read more

When at the gym I work out my thighs and then lay on my stomach or something it hurts my thighs why is this? If I put pressure on the front of them

You are working. ...: The muscles on the front of the thighs (quadriceps, or quads). Strength training involves stressing our muscles just enough that there are very small tears. When we rest for the next 48-72 hrs, these micro tears heal, making the muscle stronger. That's why rest is a vital part of training. Soreness for the 1st 24 hrs after w/o is normal, as long as it gets better over the next 48hrs. ...Read more

What side is the apendix on and how ca you tell if something is wrong her stomach hurt really bad on the left side, it hurts to put pressure on her stomach and it hurts her to have a tampon in when it never has before

Appendicitis: Appendicitis is the inflammation of the appendix - a small, finger-like protrusion from the colon. It is considered a surgical emergency. The symptoms of appendicitis usually worsen over a period of 12-18 hours. The things to look for are:

- an achy pain that starts around your belly button and eventually moves down and to the right
- pain that worsens with jarring movements
- nausea or loss of appetite
- vomiting
- fever
- constipation or diarrhea
- inability to pass gas

of course, nothing is always straightforward, so not everyone with appendicitis will have all of these symptoms or pain on the right side. If you are having severe abdominal pain in general - you should call your doctor or go to the emergency room. ...Read more
