Tricky Tick: "Ticks" come and go (I refer here to the nervous kind, not the biting kind),usually due to stress and yes, coffee can make them worse. Sometimes they last for weeks, often with no discernible cause, then go away to haunt someone else.If your tick("spasm")lasts so long it's uncomfortable or unsightly then see a doctor. There are a few ways to deal with them once anything serious (rare) is ruled-out. ...Read more

Internal inflammatio: Individuals with Crohn's disease have auto-immune syndrome, which makes them prone to inflammation inside the ocular tissues. While taking oral prednisone, this can be very low-grade and subtle. An eye surgeon uses examination instruments producing wonderful detail with LED lighting that can help see the microscopic cells [yes cells] of inflammation inside the eye , quickly diagnosing for Rx. ...Read more

Face pain/spasms, dizzy, neck pain, after doing chin ups and chest dips? Sometimes I get eyelid twitching too. What causes this? How do i fix it?
Get checked: Clearly, not a normal response after doing chin ups. I would check your teeth, your cranial joints (TM joints, occiput and frontal sinus at sphenoid junction) for presence of toxins, pathoges or allergens. Dizziness is suggestive that your ears may be involved .Muscle spasm and eyelid twitching suggest neuromuscular involvement, so rule out Lyme disease. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Doctor can evaluate: If finger muscle twitching lasts only a day, there may not be a problem. If symptoms recur, or if one's hand is numb, weak, swollen, or discolored, there may be too much pressure (constriction or swelling) inside the wrist. If so, one should see a primary care doctor or a hand surgeon, in case quick treatment is needed to prevent nerve damage at the wrist. Pregnancy often causes hands to swell. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
