? appendix testis: If pain is confined to tiny tender swelling on upper end of scrotum. Epididymitis or epididymal cyst could all produce theses symptoms. Suggest you see a urologist, who may well advise an ultrasound exam. Epididymitis means antibiotics & rest, epidymal cyst -> observation or excision depending upon severity of symptoms, similar for rorsion of appendix testis. ...Read more

This needs eval: There is really no way you can figure out what this is without an examination. It could be painful and swollen due to trauma, fluid build up (hydrocele), inflammation (orchitis), or many other causes. If the pain was only mild, you could take an OTC pain reliever and wear an athletic supporter for 2-3 days, but if pain is sudden/severe you need evaluation now. Stay well:) ...Read more
