Could be trouble...: A person with lots of bruises, but with no reason for them... Plus extreme fatigue... And pain in the left abdomen (the spleen is on the left)... Plus aching arms and legs... Could have something bad going on in the blood. The platelets could be very low, making it hard for the blood to clot. A doctor needs to check in such a situation. If one has no doctor, then the E.R. No short answer: I hope it is a muscular strain and can be helped by heatseveral times a day. In the rib cage would be more in the mid to upper abdomen. I do not like it being a severe sharp pain, if it is other than brief you should seek medical attention. When: Ther is not much on your left side like your appendix is on the right side. You are a bit young for serious diverticulitis but it could happen and that is on the left.
